Overview

Anrok is seeking a Tax Operations Registrations Associate to streamline tax compliance processes for internet businesses. You'll engage with state and local jurisdictions to ensure accurate sales tax registrations. This role requires a strong attention to detail and experience in regulatory compliance.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in developing and owning regulatory compliance processes, particularly in the context of tax operations. Your experience includes working with customers and government agencies to ensure compliance, which is crucial for this role. You possess great attention to detail, enabling you to complete sales tax registrations and licensing accurately on behalf of customers. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of tax regulations and have a keen interest in the evolving landscape of digital commerce.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to partner with internal Tax and Engineering teams to drive efficiency in tax processes. Your ability to engage with state and local jurisdictions will be essential as you become an expert in Anrok’s registrations and license renewals process. You are proactive in seeking out solutions and improvements in compliance workflows, ensuring that the company remains ahead of regulatory changes.

Desirable

Experience in tax operations or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with software tools that facilitate tax compliance. You are curious and eager to learn, sharing insights and best practices with your team to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex tax concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving efficiency and accuracy in Anrok's tax processes. You will complete sales tax registrations and licensing on behalf of customers, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. Engaging with various jurisdictions will be a key part of your responsibilities, requiring you to stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.

You will collaborate closely with the internal Tax and Engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of tax operations. Your attention to detail will be critical as you manage the registrations and license renewals process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in team conferences and share your learnings with colleagues, contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration. As part of a hybrid work model, you will work in the office three days a week, allowing for in-person collaboration while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
