Who you are

You hold a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and have over 6 years of experience in inventory and demand forecasting within a global environment. Your proficiency in SQL is at an intermediate level or higher, enabling you to analyze complex datasets effectively. You possess business-level English skills, with advanced reading and writing abilities and at least intermediate speaking skills. Your strong documentation and communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various departments.

Desirable

Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry, particularly within a global company, is highly valued. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices will give you an edge in this role.

What you'll do

In this position, you will be responsible for developing inventory strategies, including annual, monthly, and weekly stock plans, in collaboration with stakeholders to set seasonal and monthly instock strategies and goals. You will analyze stock shortages and excess inventory issues, implementing systematic solutions to optimize inventory levels. Regular reviews of global lead times and optimization of shipping modes (ocean/air) and container build rules will be part of your responsibilities. You will also automate demand forecasting audits and improve forecast accuracy, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the purchasing order system.

Your role will involve executing inventory strategies to prevent stockouts and quickly recover from any shortages. You will adjust demand forecasting audits and plans based on real-time data, analyzing root causes of stockouts and high days of coverage (DOC) to implement improvements. Defining and maintaining order system rules will also be a key aspect of your work, ensuring that inventory management aligns with company goals.
