You understand the importance of maintaining safety, quality, and performance standards in a fast-paced environment. You have a proven track record of engaging and mentoring team members to achieve business objectives. You are comfortable working in variable environments and can lift up to 49 pounds, stand, and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. You are flexible with your schedule, willing to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed.

What you'll do

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly employees in a Grocery Fulfillment Center. Your primary responsibility will be to engage your team during their shifts, ensuring that safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards are met. You will collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives. You will also play a key role in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered on time and to the correct location. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment and driving team performance.
