Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and extensive repairs on multiple panels. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. You are a team player who is willing to train and mentor other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and skills to help them grow.
You understand the importance of using state-of-the-art tools and equipment in a high-tech environment, and you are committed to delivering high-quality work. You are adaptable and ready to work overtime as needed to meet business demands, showing your dedication to the team's success. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, ensuring smooth collaboration with your colleagues.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. You will utilize your skills in heavy plastic welding and metal pulling to restore vehicles to their original condition. Your role will involve training and mentoring other technicians, helping them develop their skills and improve their performance.
You will work in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, using advanced tools and equipment to complete your tasks efficiently. Your commitment to quality and attention to detail will be essential as you handle large area bodywork and repairs on multiple panels. You will also be expected to collaborate with your team to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the satisfaction of customers.
