Clever is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales of their education solutions to school districts across the U.S. You'll manage the full sales cycle and collaborate with the District Partnership team. This role requires strong communication and sales skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the education sector, and understand the unique needs of K-12 school districts. Your ability to build relationships with district IT personnel and management will be key to your success. You are comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, and you thrive in a collaborative environment.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to conduct exploratory calls and effectively present Clever’s solutions to potential customers. Your experience in customer retention strategies will help you maintain strong relationships with existing clients. You are detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that all interactions with prospects are tracked accurately in the CRM.
Experience working with educational technology or in a sales role focused on B2B solutions is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
As an Account Executive at Clever, you will be responsible for selling our identity platform solutions to school districts across the United States. You will manage the full sales cycle, which includes understanding customer needs, proposing tailored solutions, negotiating sales, and ultimately closing deals. Your day-to-day activities will involve researching prospective district partners, making outbound calls to generate interest, and collaborating with the District Partnership team to create compelling sales campaigns.
You will also follow up with inbound leads generated from conferences and events, qualifying the type of district opportunity and managing the lifecycle from initial contact to closing. Your role will require you to maintain our district partner prospect database, capturing call notes and tracking progress in our CRM system. You will work closely with various stakeholders within the organization to ensure that our offerings meet the needs of our customers and contribute to their success.
