Overview

Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, negotiating pricing, and working with multiple stakeholders to close deals. You are comfortable selling to executives and CXOs, demonstrating the value of IoT solutions in improving operational efficiency. You thrive in a remote work environment and are willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and prospects. You are adaptable to working hours in EST/CST and can effectively manage your time to meet sales targets.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building Samsara's business within the mid-market segment. You will engage with potential customers to showcase the benefits of sensor data and how it can transform their operations. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to conduct proof of concepts and manage trials effectively. You will negotiate pricing and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs and driving user adoption of Samsara's solutions.
