What you'll do

As a Sourcing Manager at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in managing the supply chain for the Starship project. You will analyze supplier spend and capacity to develop effective negotiation and engagement strategies that align with SpaceX's goals. You will implement sustainable cost controls and work with suppliers to create cost reduction improvement plans. You will ensure that work centers are prepared for production, maintaining lineside health and aligning with the MRP demand plan. You will collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to monitor start and finish dates, cycle times, and material health. You will be responsible for solving problems that arise from late-breaking changes or shortages, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact SpaceX's ability to meet its ambitious growth targets and support the mission of enabling human life on Mars.
