Who you are

As a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, you have a solid foundation in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. You are eager to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges and are excited about the opportunity to work on innovative projects that have a global impact. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable working in a collaborative environment where you can learn from experienced engineers. You are passionate about technology and have a keen interest in satellite communications and networking technologies.

Desirable

Experience with embedded systems or firmware development is a plus, as is familiarity with networking protocols and data transmission methods. You may have completed internships or projects that involved software development, showcasing your ability to work on complex systems. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential, as is a proactive approach to tackling challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join the Starlink program at SpaceX, where you will contribute to the development of software that powers the world's most advanced broadband internet system. You will work on various aspects of the software engineering process, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging software components. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges related to satellite communications and networking. You will have the opportunity to work on next-generation networking technologies that direct data through a dynamic network of satellites and ground stations.

You will also be involved in developing firmware and embedded software that runs on custom hardware, ensuring that the systems operate reliably and efficiently.
