CI&T is seeking a Junior Security Engineer to support information security governance and risk analysis in software development projects. You'll collaborate with technology, product, and business teams while working with frameworks like ISO 27001 and OWASP. This role is based in Brazil and requires on-site presence in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas.
You are a Junior Security Engineer with a foundational understanding of information security principles and practices. You have experience or knowledge in conducting security assessments and risk analyses, particularly in software development contexts. Your familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, OWASP, LGPD, and GDPR equips you to contribute effectively to security governance and compliance efforts. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance security culture from the project's inception. You are eager to learn and grow in the field of information security, and you are committed to supporting the development of security policies and standards.
In this role, you will support security assessments for various projects and applications, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle. You will conduct technical risk analyses and compliance checks, proposing mitigation measures to address identified vulnerabilities. Collaborating with your team, you will help create, review, and implement security policies, norms, and standards that align with industry best practices. You will participate in validating internal controls based on established frameworks, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization. Additionally, you will assist in developing security reports and indicators for management, helping to communicate security status and risks effectively. You will also contribute to onboarding materials, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to foster a culture of security within the organization.
