Telligen is hiring a Home and Community Based Services Specialist to evaluate HCBS provider quality and ensure compliance with regulations. This role focuses on onboarding and supporting providers in Central and Western Iowa.
You have a strong background in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and understand the importance of provider quality and compliance with state and federal regulations. You are detail-oriented and have experience evaluating HCBS waiver, habilitation, and self-directed services to ensure they meet industry best practices. You are familiar with the onboarding process for providers and can provide technical assistance in developing and implementing policies and procedures. You are based in North or Central Iowa or Western Iowa, which is essential for this role.
Experience in training development and conducting quality oversight reviews is a plus. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders and can effectively communicate the requirements and expectations for HCBS providers. You have a passion for improving service quality and ensuring that providers deliver the best possible care to their clients.
In this role, you will focus on evaluating the quality of HCBS providers and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with provider applicants in Central and Western Iowa, guiding them through the onboarding process and providing the necessary technical assistance. Your responsibilities will include developing training materials and conducting evaluations of providers during their initial quality oversight review. You will also be responsible for monitoring ongoing compliance and providing support to ensure that providers maintain high standards of service delivery.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, to ensure that all HCBS providers meet the necessary requirements. Your role will involve staying updated on changes in regulations and best practices in the industry, allowing you to provide informed guidance to providers. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance service delivery.
