What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a world-class team of security professionals, focusing on defensive cyber operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to protect Okta's identity solutions from cyber threats. You will conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their professional aspirations and provide guidance on technical skill development. You will also be involved in the hiring process, ensuring that you bring in top talent to strengthen your team.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure that security practices are integrated into all aspects of the business. This includes collaborating with product teams to ensure that security is considered during the development of new features and services. You will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, ensuring that your team is prepared to handle any challenges that arise.

Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
