Overview

Huntress is hiring a Security Operations Analyst to triage, investigate, and remediate cyber intrusions. You'll work with a team of experts to protect small to midsize businesses from cyber threats. This role requires experience in security operations and incident response.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a solid background in security operations, with experience in triaging and responding to security incidents — you've developed a keen eye for identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in various systems. Your analytical skills allow you to investigate incidents thoroughly, ensuring that you can provide effective remediation strategies. You are comfortable working in a fully remote environment and thrive in a collaborative team setting, where you can share insights and learn from others. You understand the importance of continuous learning in the cybersecurity field and are eager to enhance your skills further.

Desirable

Experience with security tools and platforms is a plus — familiarity with Managed EDR, MDR for Microsoft 365, or similar technologies will help you hit the ground running. A background in threat hunting or incident response will also be beneficial, as you will be expected to engage with various security incidents daily. You are proactive in your approach to cybersecurity, always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance security measures.

What you'll do

As a Security Operations Analyst at Huntress, you will be responsible for monitoring security alerts and incidents, ensuring that all potential threats are addressed promptly. You will work closely with your team to investigate security breaches and develop effective response strategies. Your role will involve analyzing security data to identify trends and patterns that could indicate ongoing threats. You will also participate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with industry best practices. Collaboration with other teams will be essential, as you will need to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. You will have opportunities to mentor junior analysts and contribute to their professional development, fostering a culture of learning within the team.

What we offer

Huntress provides a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from €70,000 to €90,000, along with bonuses and equity options. As a fully remote company, we offer flexibility in your work environment, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. You will be part of a mission-driven team that is dedicated to protecting small to midsize businesses from cyber threats, making a real impact in the cybersecurity landscape. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — we value diverse perspectives and are committed to building a strong, inclusive team.
