Software Development Manager - Fullstack

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on leading teams and delivering high-quality software solutions. Your background includes hands-on experience in designing and building distributed systems, particularly in hybrid cloud environments. You are adept at writing code and guiding architectural decisions, ensuring that your team maintains a high standard of quality and security in their work.

You possess deep expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, and have a solid understanding of microservices architecture. Your experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies, such as Kafka, allows you to build efficient and scalable systems. You are familiar with CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), which you leverage to drive velocity in software delivery without compromising on quality.

Your leadership style is collaborative, and you thrive in environments where you can mentor and develop your team members. Desirable

Experience with DNS, networking, or large-scale telemetry is a plus, as is familiarity with SIEM integrations and log analytics platforms. If you have built real-time user interfaces using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE), that would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of DigiCert’s next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-native microservices and React-based user interfaces that enhance digital trust for AI models and software ecosystems. Your leadership will ensure that your team delivers high-scale, low-latency systems for DNS ingestion, analysis, and risk surfacing.

You will build and operate real-time streaming pipelines, ensuring that data flows seamlessly through the system. Your role will involve delivering enterprise APIs that are consumed by both internal user interfaces and external Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, such as Splunk and Sentinel. You will drive the velocity of development through effective CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code, ensuring that your team can deliver production services in weeks, not months.

As a hands-on leader, you will write code, review architecture, and guide design decisions, setting a strong example for your team. You will also be involved in strategic planning, helping to shape the direction of DigiCert’s product offerings in the AI security space. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the company’s mission to provide digital trust in an increasingly complex technological landscape.
