We have an exciting opportunity to join our Golden Feather Studios team in Sydney and are currently looking for an Illustrator to join the team. 

In this role, you will create high-quality visual assets for our first-party slot games, translating game ideas into clear, engaging, and production-ready artwork.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Create game art and assets including symbols, backgrounds, banners, typography, and UI elements.
• Translate game ideas into strong visual concepts and polished final art.
• Work primarily in Adobe Photoshop within an established production pipeline.
• Work closely with animators to provide storyboards for sequencing, transitions and key in game events.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate concepting and iteration where appropriate.
• Contribute ideas and improvements to help the team keep pace with evolving tools and player expectations.

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong illustration and graphic design capability.
• Demonstrated freehand / traditional illustration skill.
• Portfolio showing concept sketches through to finished production work.
• Versatility of style (ability to render vibrant, high quality artwork in both a realistic and cartoon style. Display an ability to adapt to any number of existing styles).
• Experience in slots is strongly preferred, but exceptional candidates from gaming or adjacent industries will be considered.
• Comfort working in a small, collaborative team with high trust and low ego.
• Exposure to AI tools is a plus.
