Wattpad is seeking an IT Budget & Procurement Analyst to manage North American IT spending and ensure budget governance. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with internal teams in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Korea.
You are a detail-oriented and proactive IT Budget & Procurement Analyst with experience in managing budgets and procurement processes. You understand the importance of keeping IT spend organized and predictable, and you have a knack for turning scattered cost data into clear reports and insights for IT and Finance leaders. You are comfortable reviewing IT spending requests and evaluating their fit-for-purpose against existing tools and budget constraints. Your ability to ask clarifying questions and challenge requests ensures that the organization makes informed decisions regarding IT expenditures. You thrive in collaborative environments and are flexible in attending meetings outside standard local business hours to accommodate global stakeholders.
In this role, you will act as the primary steward of WEBTOON Entertainment's North American IT spend, ensuring that budgets are tracked and updated accurately. You will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, from processing purchase requests to handling invoices, ensuring that all transactions are well-governed. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you create reports that provide insights into IT spending, helping leaders make informed financial decisions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, asking clarifying questions and challenging requests when necessary to ensure that all IT spending aligns with the company's standards and budget constraints. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the IT budget.
