Overview

Shift4 is hiring a Senior Associate for POS Support to provide advanced technical support for WAY2PAY systems. You'll interact with clients to resolve technical issues and improve system performance. This role requires experience in a B2B, SaaS environment.

Who you are

You have a strong background in providing technical support, particularly in a B2B or SaaS environment. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively with clients. You understand the importance of empathy in customer interactions and strive to build rapport with every merchant you assist. You are detail-oriented and ensure that all issues are logged and tracked appropriately, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). Your ability to diagnose problems through effective questioning sets you apart in delivering exceptional service.

Desirable

Experience with POS systems or payment processing technology is a plus. Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools will enhance your ability to track and resolve issues efficiently. You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations and are eager to share knowledge with your team to foster a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the initial point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues with their WAY2PAY systems. You will listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy while building rapport. Your primary responsibility will be to improve terminal and POS system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes. You will diagnose customer issues through a process of elimination by asking probing questions and provide resolution by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding merchants through corrective steps. You will ensure that all issues are logged and tracked in the ITSM, providing frequent updates to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotations and support team knowledge sharing to enhance overall service delivery.
