Job Description

Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and seeking world-class Partner Sales professionals to drive our partner ecosystem in Korea. As a Partner Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and manage strategic relationships with key Technology and Consulting partners in the Korean market. You will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of AWS cloud computing platform - including Amazon S3, EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFront, CloudSearch, and AWS Marketplace - through our partner network. In this role, you will focus on expanding our partner ecosystem, developing strategic partnerships, and enabling partners' business growth through AWS solutions.

Key job responsibilities
- Proactively identify IT service providers who are prepared to lead the market transition to Cloud
- Facilitate adoption and manage existing partners (Managed service providers, resellers and professional services firms)
- Identify partners in specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach, create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Position AWS for internal use by the partner organization.
- Ensure that AWS is the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all product lines.
- Understand the technical and training requirements of our partners, and work closely with the internal - AWS product teams to guide the direction of future products.
- Maintain a robust projects pipeline.
- Working experience with CRM systems and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics for tracking purposes.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

- Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences. Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers/partners.
- Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models. - Bachelor or Masters degree
- 10+ years of IT industry experience
- Technical qualification
