What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with Waymo's business development, product partnership, strategy, and operations teams to execute business plans that align with the company's risk management objectives. You will be responsible for advising on insurance trends and helping to shape the company's approach to managing risks associated with autonomous driving technology. Your insights will guide the development of risk frameworks that support the safe deployment of Waymo's services.

You will collaborate with legal and public policy experts to ensure that the company's interests are well protected from existing and emerging risks. This includes evaluating product liability, auto, cyber, and related risks to ensure comprehensive coverage. You will also engage in discussions with stakeholders to communicate risk assessments and recommendations, fostering a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.

Your role will involve continuous monitoring of the risk landscape, allowing you to identify new challenges and opportunities for improvement. You will contribute to the development of strategies that enhance the company's resilience against potential risks, ensuring that Waymo remains a leader in the autonomous driving space.

Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $157,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
