Axon is seeking a Supervisor for Automation Technicians to oversee maintenance and performance of production equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills and in-depth product knowledge to ensure high equipment uptime.

You are a seasoned leader with experience in supervising technical teams, particularly in the automation or manufacturing sectors. You understand the importance of maintaining high equipment performance and uptime, and you have a track record of effectively managing teams to achieve these goals. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey equipment status and collaborate with manufacturing line leads and engineers seamlessly. You are proactive in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and determining corrective actions, ensuring that production processes run smoothly.

You have a strong technical background that enables you to demonstrate in-depth product knowledge. This expertise allows you to guide your team effectively and make informed decisions regarding equipment maintenance and operations. Desirable

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus, as it will help you manage work orders and spare parts needs efficiently. What you'll do

As the Supervisor of Automation Technicians at Axon, you will take ownership of supervising equipment maintenance to support manufacturing operations. You will communicate relevant equipment status to associated manufacturing line leads and supervisors, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned. Your role will involve troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, determining corrective actions, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues promptly.

You will manage and complete work orders in Axon's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), which will require you to be detail-oriented and organized. Additionally, you will determine equipment spare parts needs within the CMMS to ensure that your team has the necessary resources to maintain high equipment performance. Your leadership will be crucial in driving real change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
