TaxBit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build modern solutions for complex problems in the FinTech space. You'll work with Java, JavaScript, and Python to deliver world-class experiences for users and clients. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable solutions in the FinTech space. Your expertise in Java, JavaScript, and Python allows you to tackle complex problems with elegance and efficiency. You understand the importance of writing well-designed, well-tested, and readable code, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can partner with designers and product managers to deliver the right solutions for customers. You possess an active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph, which is essential for this role. You are humble, hungry, and open to tackling some of the industry's biggest challenges, and you are excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact in the digital asset space.
Experience with cloud technologies and SaaS platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance challenges in the financial sector. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow alongside your team.
In this role, you will build and implement software solutions that streamline and automate tax reporting and accounting activities for digital assets.
