Job Description

Who you are

You are detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You understand the importance of timely and accurate case management in a healthcare setting, ensuring that member complaints and grievances are handled with care and efficiency. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable using various communication channels to receive and log incoming cases. You are proactive in identifying urgent cases and ensuring they are assigned to the appropriate team members. You are committed to maintaining high standards of service for both members and providers, understanding the critical nature of your role in the organization.

Desirable

Experience in customer service or operations is a plus, as is familiarity with healthcare processes. You may have a background in administrative roles where you honed your skills in case management or complaint resolution. A passion for helping others and a desire to contribute to a positive member experience will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a CGA Triage Coordinator, you will be responsible for the initial management and routing of all member complaints, grievances, and appeals. You will receive, log, and process incoming cases through various channels, including mail, fax, email, and internal systems. Your role will involve monitoring and managing case queues, proactively flagging urgent cases, and assigning them to the appropriate liaison or team. You will work closely with the CG&A team to ensure that all cases are triaged promptly and accurately, supporting the team's ability to meet strict regulatory deadlines. Your attention to detail will be crucial in categorizing and prioritizing cases effectively, ensuring that members receive timely responses to their concerns.

What we offer

Oscar offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.00, along with employee benefits and a monthly vacation accrual rate of 15 days per year. You will have the opportunity to work in a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. While your daily tasks will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. Joining Oscar means being part of a company that is dedicated to transforming the health insurance experience for its members, and you will play a vital role in that mission.
