Waymo is seeking a Software Engineer for their ML Inference and Simulation Infrastructure team. You'll build and evolve ML inference infrastructure for simulations, focusing on reliability and user experience. This role requires 3+ years of experience in C++ and/or Golang.
You have a B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience. With 3+ years of experience in software engineering, you have a strong foundation in programming languages, particularly C++ and Golang. You are passionate about building reliable and scalable systems, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work with cross-functional teams. You understand the importance of user experience and are committed to delivering high-quality software solutions. You are eager to tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of innovative simulation products.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and deployment strategies is a plus. Familiarity with simulation technologies and infrastructure will help you excel in this role. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys learning new technologies and methodologies to enhance your skill set.
As a Software Engineer at Waymo, you will be responsible for building and evolving the ML inference infrastructure that supports our simulation products. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and data scientists to ensure the reliability, latency, and overall user experience of ML model deployment and serving.
