Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, particularly in high-precision applications. Your expertise includes working with advanced materials and manufacturing processes, and you have a strong understanding of RF systems and vacuum technologies. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

You possess a solid foundation in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks, allowing you to create detailed designs and simulations. Your analytical skills enable you to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and optimize designs for performance and cost-effectiveness. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to bring projects from concept to reality.

Desirable

Experience with satellite systems or telecommunications equipment is a plus. Familiarity with environmental testing and reliability engineering will set you apart. You are proactive in seeking solutions and have a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the design and development of Starlink ground station antennas.
