What you'll do

As an Engineering Specialist at SpaceX, you will play a crucial role in the avionics production team, working on the 2nd shift to ensure that equipment is managed and maintained to the highest standards. You will assist with the initial setup of PCBA lines and handle facility requests, ensuring that all equipment is programmed and operational for production. Your responsibilities will include programming, loading, and operating automated equipment, as well as designing custom fixtures that facilitate efficient process flow.

You will train technicians to run and troubleshoot complex machines, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles. Your expertise will be vital in triaging non-conforming products and driving resolutions and preventative actions to maintain product quality. You will resolve production issues while ensuring that design integrity and delivery timelines are upheld, contributing to the overall success of the team.

In addition, you will perform process development and validation on new models, working under tight deadlines to ensure successful transitions from development to production. Your role will involve identifying continuous improvement opportunities that enhance yield, performance, and cost, making you an integral part of the team’s success.
