Snowflake is seeking an Account Executive for the Public Sector team to drive business with provincial government ministries and municipalities in Western Canada. This role requires expertise in the Canadian public sector and strong prospecting skills.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working with government entities. Your experience includes developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in provincial government ministries, Crown Corporations, and municipalities. You are skilled in creative prospecting and have a knack for identifying new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts. You thrive in environments that require autonomy and accountability, and you are open to new perspectives and ideas that can drive innovation.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers. Your ability to understand clients' IT roadmaps and align them with Snowflake's offerings makes you a trusted advisor. You are driven by results and are committed to delivering value-based outcomes for your clients. You are also curious and eager to learn, always looking for innovative ways to meet and exceed customer needs.
Experience in the Canadian public sector is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Snowflake's products and services. A background in technology sales or a related field will give you an edge in understanding the technical aspects of the solutions you will be selling. You are someone who challenges ordinary thinking and pushes the pace of innovation, contributing to high visibility and high impact projects.
As an Account Executive at Snowflake, you will focus on expanding our presence in the public sector by strategically pursuing new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships.
