Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on full-stack development. Your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies allows you to drive complex projects from conception to delivery. You are passionate about building intuitive tools that enhance scientific workflows and improve data integrity.

Your proficiency in Python and React enables you to create scalable architectures that meet product requirements effectively. You understand the importance of quality in software development and are committed to delivering high-impact features that align with user needs.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly helps bridge the gap between engineering and product management.

You are motivated by the mission of advancing biotechnology through technology, and you are eager to contribute to a team that is dedicated to accelerating scientific discovery. You are open to mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge to foster a culture of learning and growth.

Desirable

Experience in the biotechnology sector or familiarity with scientific workflows would be a plus. Knowledge of additional frameworks or languages that complement your skill set can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for driving end-to-end projects, from initial design discussions to final deployment. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers and designers to ensure that user experience is at the forefront of your development efforts. You will also engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, helping to maintain a high level of code quality across the team.

In addition to feature development, you will contribute to architectural discussions, helping to shape the future direction of the chemistry tools. You will monitor the performance of the systems you build and implement improvements as necessary to enhance user satisfaction and system reliability.
