Your experience includes managing operational budgets and delivering on financial and labor planning goals. You are skilled in long-term strategic planning, including labor forecasting and peak season planning, ensuring that your teams are prepared to meet business demands. You are passionate about continuous improvement and have successfully led projects that optimize operations and enhance productivity.

You possess strong networking skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with other leaders across the organization. Your ability to solicit ideas and understand challenges within the building is crucial for driving improvements and achieving operational goals. What you'll do

As a Senior Transportation Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations within the TOM teams at your node. You will lead a dynamic team of Operations and Area Managers, driving them to achieve operational excellence through effective coaching and mentoring. Your strategic responsibilities will include owning and delivering the operational budget for your functional area, ensuring that safety, productivity, and financial goals are met.

You will engage in long-term planning, focusing on labor forecasting and peak season strategies to prepare your teams for upcoming challenges. Your role will involve driving continuous improvement projects that optimize operations and enhance productivity, working closely with your team to identify problems and implement solutions.

Networking with other leaders will be a key part of your role, as you will collaborate to share best practices and drive improvements across the organization. You will be expected to lead by example, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability within your teams.
