Axon is seeking a Director of Accounting Strategy & Financial Reporting to lead accounting research and operational analysis with a focus on M&A and financial reporting. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership and the development of actionable accounting policies.

You have a strong understanding of M&A, strategic equity and debt investments, and new accounting standards. Your ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership sets you apart. You possess a deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, which allows you to develop clear and actionable accounting policies. You are skilled in conducting operational analysis and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate and informative. Your experience in training and advising teams on accounting implications of unique transactions makes you a valuable asset to any organization.
In this role, you will lead the Accounting Strategy and Financial Reporting team at Axon, focusing on critical areas such as M&A and strategic investments. You will oversee the SEC reporting and earnings release process, ensuring that all financial disclosures are accurate and compliant with regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting accounting research and operational analysis, as well as developing and implementing clear accounting policies.
