Intercom is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll leverage your expertise to design data models and ensure data quality. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in data engineering.
You have a strong background in analytics engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining data models that support business operations. Your expertise in data quality and efficiency allows you to identify and resolve issues at their root cause, ensuring that all teams have access to accurate and timely data. You are comfortable collaborating with various teams, including Analysts and Data Infrastructure, to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows.
You possess a deep understanding of how go-to-market teams operate, which enables you to anticipate their data requirements effectively. Your technical skills allow you to design robust data models that serve as the foundation for critical business decisions. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which helps you drive efficiencies in data processes.
Experience with data warehousing solutions and familiarity with SQL or similar query languages would be advantageous. Knowledge of data visualization tools and practices can also enhance your contributions to the team. If you have experience working in a fast-paced tech environment, that would be a plus.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that meet the needs of various teams within Intercom. You will work closely with Analysts to ensure they have the right data at their fingertips for strategic decision-making. Your role will involve troubleshooting data quality issues and implementing solutions that enhance the reliability of our data assets.
You will collaborate with Data Infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure that data flows seamlessly across the organization. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in this role, as you will need to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.
You will also play a key role in driving data literacy across the organization, helping teams understand how to leverage data effectively in their day-to-day operations. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven initiatives.
