Who you are

You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are familiar with data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments. You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside diverse teams of engineers and specialists to solve challenging problems. You understand the importance of maintaining infrastructure that supports global digital experiences and are committed to delivering exceptional results. You are eager to learn and grow in your role, contributing to the success of the team and the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating mission-critical facilities within Amazon's data centers. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling systems. Your expertise will help ensure that the data center operates at an extraordinary 99.999% uptime. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency. You will also participate in routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role is crucial in supporting AWS Infrastructure Services and ensuring that customers have continual access to the cloud services they rely on.
