Who you are

You have a strong background in performance engineering with experience in defining and developing software solutions that enhance system performance. Your expertise includes troubleshooting production and performance issues, and you are adept at analyzing system efficiency to ensure optimal performance across various components. You understand application architecture, particularly microservices-based architecture, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.

You possess a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and are skilled in designing, developing, and executing performance and scalability test cases. You are capable of measuring throughput, latency, and response times under various load conditions, and you have experience evaluating and benchmarking new technologies to inform product architecture decisions. Your analytical skills allow you to establish baseline benchmarks and identify performance bottlenecks, ensuring that any major deviations are addressed promptly.

What you'll do

In your role as a Specialist Performance Engineer at NICE, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures for performance engineering. You will be responsible for designing and developing software that supports performance testing and optimization efforts. Your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting production and performance issues, analyzing system efficiency, and collaborating with development teams to ensure that performance and scalability are prioritized in product design.

You will design, develop, and execute performance and scalability test cases to measure key metrics such as throughput, latency, and response times. Your work will include evaluating and benchmarking new technologies, as well as collaborating with development engineering to design robust product architectures. You will also review and debug code to enhance performance, scaling, and reliability of the platform, ensuring that SLAs are met and performance issues are identified and resolved efficiently.
