Adyen is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to serve as the first interface with merchants globally. You'll work closely with technical and commercial teams to ensure seamless payment processing. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
You have a strong background in technical support, ideally within the payments or financial technology sector — your experience has equipped you with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions to customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with diverse teams to ensure that merchants receive the best possible support. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are motivated by helping others succeed and take pride in being a key resource for your team and customers alike.
Experience with payment processing systems or financial technology is a plus — familiarity with the challenges merchants face in this space will help you provide tailored support. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies will set you apart, as will any experience in a customer-facing role where you have had to manage expectations and deliver results under pressure.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Adyen’s merchants, assisting them with their payment processing needs and ensuring they can operate smoothly. You will collaborate with both technical and commercial teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring that merchants can focus on growing their businesses. Your work will involve diagnosing problems, providing solutions, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also participate in a rotating schedule for weekend and holiday coverage, ensuring that support is available 24/7 for our merchants. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our merchants, making your role crucial to the overall mission of Adyen.
