You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines. You are proficient in cloud technologies and have a solid understanding of data architecture principles. Desirable

Experience with tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar data processing frameworks would be a plus. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in data engineering is also desirable. What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer at Box, you will play a crucial role in the development of our Ops Management Platform. You will design and implement data pipelines that ensure the availability and reliability of data across our cloud infrastructure. Your work will involve collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and translating those into scalable solutions. You will also be responsible for monitoring data flows and troubleshooting any issues that arise, ensuring that our data remains accurate and accessible.

You will contribute to the architecture of our data systems, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations. Your insights will help shape the direction of our data strategy, and you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
