DoorDash USA is hiring an Account Executive for their Emerging Markets team to drive growth by building partnerships with SMB merchants. This role involves managing the full sales cycle and requires strong outbound sales skills.
You have experience in sales, particularly in managing the full sales cycle and engaging with small and mid-size businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with cold calling and building relationships with potential partners. You are motivated by targets and enjoy the challenge of bringing new merchants onto a platform. You possess strong communication skills and are able to consult effectively with potential clients to understand their needs and how they can benefit from the DoorDash platform. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed for in-person collaboration and team-building events. You are excited about the opportunity to make a significant impact in emerging markets and help local economies grow.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, which includes identifying high-potential SMB merchants in emerging markets and bringing them onto the DoorDash platform. You will manage a dedicated lead list of approximately 225 merchants, spending the majority of your day cold calling and driving a structured, repeatable process to pitch, consult, and close new partners. You will work closely with your Inside Sales Manager, who will provide ongoing coaching and development to support your success in this role. You will also be expected to collaborate with other team members and participate in training and offsite events to enhance your skills and build relationships within the team. Your role will be flexible, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work, and you will need to be prepared to travel as necessary for business-related activities.
