Veracode is seeking a Principal Account Manager to drive revenue growth within existing enterprise accounts. You'll leverage your sales acumen and strategic mindset to help clients achieve their security goals. This role requires strong relationship management skills and experience in executing sales processes.
You have a proven track record in account management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the technology or security sector. Your strong sales acumen allows you to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, ensuring that clients maximize the value of their investments. You are skilled in building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and aligning them with innovative solutions. Your strategic mindset enables you to navigate complex sales cycles effectively, using methodologies like MEDDPICC to drive results. You are passionate about helping enterprise clients achieve their risk and security goals, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can work closely with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the application security market or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with sales forecasting and reporting tools will help you deliver accurate and timely forecasts. You are comfortable using data to inform your decisions and can articulate the differentiated value of your solutions to clients.
In this role, you will own and drive revenue growth within existing Veracode customers, focusing on account expansion through upsells and cross-sells. You will conduct thorough discovery sessions to uncover customer needs and map them to Veracode's value proposition. Your ability to articulate the differentiated value of our solutions will be key to your success. You will manage the full sales cycle within existing accounts, ensuring that you qualify leads, develop business cases, and negotiate value-based agreements. Building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations will be essential, as you will act as the primary point of contact for your accounts. You will also be responsible for delivering accurate forecasts and reports, ensuring that you keep all stakeholders informed of account status and growth opportunities.
