Google is seeking a Senior Silicon Bring Up and Test Manager to lead the development of custom silicon solutions. You'll work with ASIC and SoC design, utilizing EDA tools and DFT techniques. This role requires 8+ years of experience in hardware engineering.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and you have at least 8 years of experience in ASIC or SoC design, including test and custom chip development with Design-for-Test (DFT) implementation. Your experience includes working with vendors and managing development schedules and specifications, showcasing your strong project management skills. A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with an emphasis on computer architecture is preferred, as is your familiarity with EDA tools for synthesis, Static Timing Analysis (STA), DFT, and test tool conversion. You have a solid understanding of DFT techniques such as hierarchical DFT, compression, and diagnosis, and you are knowledgeable in display backplane panel technology. Your expertise in hardware description languages, particularly Verilog and SystemVerilog, complements your excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
In this role, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Additionally, you will play a key role in root-cause analysis of silicon failures, collaborating with design and test engineering teams to identify and resolve issues effectively.
