You have 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services, demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can operate autonomously while maintaining a focus on customer needs. Your background includes advocating for customers and acting as an extension of their team within MongoDB. You possess a mind for technology and are eager to learn about MongoDB and databases, understanding that the product is inherently technical. You are capable of taking full ownership of your customer portfolio, making key decisions to drive effective outcomes, and knowing when to escalate issues to the executive team. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential, as you will be expected to navigate challenges and advocate for internal teams, including sales and professional services.
A passion for technology and a curiosity to learn about complex systems will set you apart. Experience in a technical environment or familiarity with database technologies is a plus, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
In this role, you will become the main point of contact for MongoDB end users, leveraging your technical and account management skills to ensure customer satisfaction. You will help build the Customer Success program, working closely with various teams, including Sales and Professional Services, to deliver exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include managing customer relationships, addressing their needs, and ensuring they derive maximum value from MongoDB's offerings. You will also be involved in conflict resolution, de-risking customer issues, and advocating for customer needs within the organization. Your role will require you to make strategic decisions that impact customer success and satisfaction, ensuring that you are always aligned with their goals.
