Careem is seeking a Head of Co-Branded Cards to lead the development and scaling of their card offerings. You'll drive strategy at the intersection of Fintech innovation and consumer loyalty. This role requires experience in the UAE fintech landscape and familiarity with card issuing platforms.
You have a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record in the fintech or payments landscape, particularly within the UAE or broader GCC region. Your experience includes familiarity with card issuing platforms and loyalty or membership-based business models, which will be crucial in building Careem's co-branded card offerings. You thrive in environments that require navigating ambiguity and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to drive results. Your ability to lead and scale complex, multi-market programs is well-established, making you an ideal candidate for this high-impact role.
As the Head of Co-Branded Cards, you will define the vision for Careem's card offerings and lead execution across various workstreams including commercial, product, and operational aspects. You will manage the overall financial performance of the program, ensuring alignment with Careem's Fintech ambitions. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to drive strategy and growth. You will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that enhance consumer loyalty and engagement with the Everything App, leveraging your expertise in embedded finance and Super App ecosystems. You will also be tasked with identifying market opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them, ensuring that Careem remains at the forefront of the fintech landscape in the region.
