About The team

As Deliveroo continues to scale, we become a major revenue channel for restaurants - aside from providing best-in-class support, we are restaurant consultants that use data-driven insight and industry knowledge to help our partner restaurants’ grow. Our Account Management team owns and manages restaurant relationships. We are restaurant consultants who use data-driven analytics and industry knowledge to provide best-in-class support and strategic value to our restaurant partners. The Account Managers are a passionate, dynamic group of team players who work well together and cross-functionally with other departments, and of course, they’re fun, personable, and great at building exceptional relationships.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of Key Accounts partners that consist of high value QSRs, National & International Accounts, or Local Gems

  • Manage a small team of Key Account Managers (~2-3) who also manage a portfolio of high value accounts

  • You will work closely with Key Accounts and will take full ownership of the development and delivery of negotiations and longer term account planning workstreams. You require less support to solve more complex problems and you will become an SME (Subject Matter Expert), scaling ways of working across your segment and sometimes more broadly. You will work with your portfolio of accounts and interact primarily with the stakeholders who manage day to day projects or operations, internally and externally

  • Use the strong relationships you have developed to accelerate the growth and health of your portfolio. You will be required to build growth plans for your portfolio that involves critical thinking

  • Your scope of influence from an account perspective involves senior stakeholders as well as those managing the day-to-day and you have regular interactions with your Team Lead and leaders across the Deliveroo business. As a SME you are a trusted voice of our largest Key Accounts and actively involved in the design and improvement of internal workstreams

  • Manage a small team of Account Executives as well as an Account Manager who also manage a portfolio of high value accounts

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry F&B/FMCG/Tech/E-commerce

  • 1-2 years of people management experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Well-organised with excellent team-player qualities

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships

  • Agile and highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus

  • Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus
