Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead sales engagement with top strategic accounts in Mexico City. This role requires collaboration with partners to drive sales targets and develop territory plans.
You have over 7 years of experience in a regional or national partner sales role within the IT Operations and/or IT Security industry — you understand the nuances of partner ecosystems and how to leverage them for sales success. Your background includes direct sales engagement with strategic accounts, particularly in sectors like telecommunications and financial institutions, where you've built strong relationships and driven significant growth.
You excel in creating and executing territory plans and account mapping initiatives — your strategic mindset allows you to align sales and technical teams effectively with partners. You are a proactive communicator, serving as the single point of contact for sales leadership within your territory, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Your experience includes training and coaching partners to enhance their productivity — you understand the importance of enabling partners to succeed in their roles, which in turn drives your success. You are adept at developing go-to-market strategies that resonate with both partners and customers, ensuring that the value of your offerings is clearly communicated and understood.
You are highly proficient in understanding and delivering all aspects of your company's value proposition to both customers and partners — your ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
In this role, you will focus on top strategic accounts in Mexico City, working closely with partners to accelerate planning and customer prospecting. You will directly support sales leadership to drive new customer acquisition and annual recurring revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing territory plans, ensuring that all sales and technical teams are aligned with partner strategies.
You will proactively engage with partners to build and execute joint business and territory account mapping plans — your strategic insights will help identify opportunities for growth and collaboration. You will also play a key role in training and coaching partners, helping them to increase their productivity and effectiveness in the market.
As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will create thoughtful partner go-to-market strategies for all sales leaders within the region — your ability to align key strategic partners with top prospects will be crucial in driving large deals. You will be the driving force behind the execution of these strategies, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with Tanium’s regional sales strategy.
Your role will require you to travel within Mexico and occasionally to the United States for training and meetings — you will be expected to maintain a strong presence in the field, engaging with partners and customers to foster relationships and drive sales success.
