Amazon is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for their Global Transformation & Insights team. You'll be responsible for developing strategies to solve complex business problems using data. This role requires strong problem-solving capabilities and experience in large-scale organizations.
You are a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in solving complex business problems using data. You thrive in ambiguous environments where the business problem is known, but the technical strategy is not defined. Your problem-solving capabilities allow you to isolate, define, and resolve complex issues effectively. You have experience working in large-scale organizations, dealing with large and complex data sets. You possess high judgment and are able to develop strategies and concepts that frame solution sets for detailed design.
Experience in customer insights and business insights is a plus, as is a background in real estate or facilities management. You are customer-obsessed and index high on ownership, always looking for ways to innovate and improve processes. You enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and celebrating unique perspectives.
In this role, you will work closely with the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team to provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making. You will partner with various stakeholders to ensure quality and operational excellence in Amazon’s corporate office portfolio. Your responsibilities will include investigating data sets, developing analytical models, and presenting insights to drive business transformation. You will also be expected to continuously improve processes based on customer feedback and operational metrics.
