Job Description

Are you interested in partnering with all of Amazon's consumer businesses to shape the benefits we offer to the 200MM+ Prime members in countries around the world? Are you interested in autonomously helping Prime make data-driven decisions about the future strategic direction of one of the most successful membership programs in history?

The Finance Manager, Prime Benefits and Constructs partners both with the WW Prime organization and all of Amazon’s consumer businesses to continuously increase the value of Prime to our 200MM+ Prime members and profitably grow. This is an expansive role that has deep exposure and partnership with all Amazon consumer businesses. It partners with the Prime business team and consumer businesses to 1) develop business cases for new benefits or enhancements to existing benefits; 2) create and operate metrics and mechanisms that measure and improve the strength of Prime benefits worldwide; and 3) drives strategic decisions about the future of Prime benefits and the Prime program across the 24 countries in which Prime currently operates. If you are analytical and like working with multiple Amazon businesses on highly visible strategic topics that have an impact across the world, then this might be just the role you have been looking for!

We are open to either Seattle (HQ1) or Arlington (HQ2) locations only.

Key job responsibilities
• Brainstorming with business partners on new benefits offerings or changes to existing offerings;
• Sizing new business opportunities and developing metrics that allow us to measure success;
• Facilitating financial and business review meetings with stakeholders to support decision making;
• Driving thought leadership in quantifying the value of distinct customer behaviors, and making recommendations to increase value to customers and Amazon;
• Creating and improving financial metrics, reports and scorecards;
• In coordination with Business Intelligence, working with large volumes of complex data and distilling it down to actionable findings presented to senior management.

Prime’s Benefits (e.g. Prime Video, Fast Shipping, Prime Deals, Amazon Music, Audible, Grocery, Photos, and more) are what make Prime one of the most successful membership programs in history.- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
