Corelight is seeking a Director of Sales (AVP) to lead and develop a team of Account Executives in the DOD/IC Community. This role focuses on driving revenue growth and ensuring sales excellence. Strong leadership and strategic sales experience are essential.
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the DOD/IC community, and possess the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams. Your experience includes driving revenue growth and ensuring sales excellence through effective coaching and strategic planning. You understand the importance of fostering a culture of accountability and high performance, and you thrive in collaborative environments where cross-functional partnerships are key to success.
You are adept at defining and executing sales strategies in alignment with organizational goals, and you have a strong grasp of sales processes, methodologies, and tools. Your leadership style emphasizes professional growth and career development for your team members, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to excel in their roles. You are committed to creating an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
Experience in cybersecurity sales or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with network security technologies. You may also have a background in working with government contracts or understanding the unique challenges faced by the DOD/IC community.
As the Director of Sales at Corelight, you will lead a team of Strategic & Enterprise Account Executives, guiding them in their efforts to drive revenue growth within the assigned region. You will be responsible for setting clear sales targets and ensuring that your team meets or exceeds these goals. Your role will involve coaching your team on effective pipeline development, deal strategy, and forecasting accuracy, all while adhering to Corelight’s established sales methodologies.
You will collaborate closely with Regional Vice Presidents and executive leadership to define and execute the area sales strategy, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. Your responsibilities will also include tracking performance metrics and providing regular updates to leadership on sales progress and challenges.
In this role, you will work alongside cross-functional partners, including Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Product teams, to drive joint success in the region. You will ensure that your team consistently adopts sales processes, playbooks, and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
