Smartsheet is seeking a Regional Director for the Public Sector to lead a team of Account Executives in the Western Region of the US. You'll drive sales strategies and engage with large customers in the State/Local Government and Education sectors.
You have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, particularly within the public sector, with a focus on State and Local Government and Education. Your experience includes building and leading high-performing sales teams that consistently exceed quotas and drive transformational transactions. You possess strong strategic thinking skills and can align effectively with large customers to meet their needs. You are comfortable with complex, solution-based sales processes and have a history of coaching team members to develop account-focused strategies. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you thrive in environments where you can engage directly with both your team and clients.
Experience in the technology sector, particularly with SaaS solutions, is a plus. Familiarity with sales forecasting and performance metrics will help you excel in this role. You are adept at navigating organizational structures and building relationships with senior executives in target accounts. A background in public sector sales or a related field will enhance your ability to succeed in this position.
As the Regional Director, you will be responsible for building and leading a sales team that exceeds quarterly and annual sales quotas.
