Experience in the mobility or e-commerce sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with marketplace dynamics. You have a strong understanding of pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and supply chain management. Familiarity with cloud platforms and data engineering practices will also be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Science Manager at Careem, you will lead a talented team of data scientists and machine learning engineers focused on driving AI innovation across the Marketplace domain. You will define the roadmap for marketplace intelligence, optimizing key operational metrics such as pricing, ETAs, and demand shaping. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively integrated into business strategies. You will oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models at scale, ensuring they deliver real impact on the business. Additionally, you will mentor and develop your team, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.
