Box is seeking an Account Executive for the Public Sector to drive sales activities and build relationships with key stakeholders. You'll leverage your experience in enterprise software sales and work closely with CIOs and IT executives. This role requires 3+ years of account sales experience in the IT industry.
You have over 3 years of account sales experience in the IT industry, particularly with enterprise software products. Your background includes working with central government agencies or local municipalities, allowing you to navigate complex sales processes effectively. You excel at maintaining relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new customer opportunities. Your experience includes engaging closely with executive-level stakeholders, such as CIOs and line-of-business executives, to advance negotiations and close deals. You possess the ability to simplify and clearly explain complex cloud technologies, ensuring that clients understand the value of the solutions you offer. You have a solid understanding of the sales process and purchasing cycles, which enables you to strategize effectively for each client engagement. You are accustomed to using data-driven approaches in your sales activities, particularly through tools like Salesforce, to manage leads and forecast sales accurately.
In this role, you will be a vital member of the sales team in Japan, focusing on understanding customer business challenges and requirements to propose Box's solutions effectively. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including CIOs and IT executives, to build trust and facilitate decision-making processes. You will lead complex and long-term sales opportunities while ensuring that you also secure short-term wins to accelerate progress. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline that contributes to the organization's revenue and profit goals. You will develop a deep understanding of each customer's use cases and purchasing processes to create appropriate sales strategies. Tracking the progress and risks of deals will be crucial, and you will respond timely to any challenges that arise. You will actively utilize Salesforce for lead management and sales forecasting, driving your sales activities with data.
