Job Summary
Instructional designer is responsible for creating, curating, and managing content across various platforms and mediums. This role ensures that content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the organization's goals and brand voice
Key job responsibilities
-Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports organizational objectives
-Create high-quality, engaging content for various channels (e.g., websites, social media, newsletters)
-Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
-Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content
-Optimize content for search engines and user experience
-Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of materials
-Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
-Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals
-Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging learning experiences
-Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning theories (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), & instructional design models.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, especially on Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher
-Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Captivate, Lectora)
-Foundational programming and coding skills (preferably with JavaScript), such as functions, conditionals, arrays, loops, and basic troubleshooting.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS, including understanding of basic elements, styling, and troubleshooting.
-Understanding of how Learning Management Systems (LMS) work, including commons LMS features and the use of eLearning protocols(xAPI, CMI5, SCORM) to communicate information and create engaging learning experiences.
-Experience with design tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Camtasia, etc.
-Self-starter with ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to write clear instructions and summaries, as well as adapt text for audio/video scripts in English and Turkish.
-Strong administrative and organizational skills and must have keen attention to detail
-Speak, write and read fluently in English and HindiPreferred qualifications
-Instructional Design certification(s) or equivalent.
-Experience developing templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all materials.
-Proficiency in adult learning instructional design methods and best practices.
-Expertise in exploring the latest technical developments such as AI, chatbots, and AR/VR, with the technical understanding to identify and implement reasonable use cases.
-Previous experience on Adobe Suites
-Other languages, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi
