Google is seeking a Senior Business Continuity and Resilience Analyst to define and implement security and resilience programs. You'll collaborate with teams to create innovative security strategies and manage disruptive events. This role requires 6 years of experience in security and resilience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience defining and implementing security and resilience programs and strategies. Your background includes 4 years of experience controlling security risks and developing methods to reduce or mitigate these threats. You also have 2 years of experience in project management, where you've identified problems, developed recommendations, and implemented solutions. You possess the ability to seek and procure appropriate resources or vendors based on business needs, and you leverage your expertise in the resilience domain to guide and mentor team members. Building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is second nature to you, and you communicate effectively with executive leaders. You have a knack for analyzing and leveraging data and metrics to draw insights and identify resilience process improvement opportunities.
As a part of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team, you will play a crucial role in keeping Googlers safe and secure while managing disruptive events. You will collaborate with the Facilities Management team to create innovative security strategies, investigate breaches, and create risk assessment plans for the future. Your expertise in security will be at the core of Google's design and development process, ensuring that security is built into the DNA of our products and offices. You will provide trend, data analysis, and performance reporting for security-related disciplines, using risk analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques on qualitative and quantitative data. Supporting incident response teams and GSRS efforts will be part of your responsibilities, assisting where needed and joining activities that help get ahead of potential incident consequences.
