You have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks, with experience in evaluating control effectiveness and efficiency. You are familiar with industry requirements such as FedRAMP and HIPAA, and you possess the ability to learn and comprehend complex regulatory requirements. What you'll do

In this role, you will perform complex control assessments for AWS services and features, diving deep into compliance and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate the control effectiveness and efficiency of services, recommending improvements to ensure they are audit-ready at launch. You will work closely with service teams to perform assessment and remediation work in a timely manner, facilitating the ability to grow and scale internal compliance processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining regulatory and security requirements, establishing strategies to meet current and upcoming customer and regulatory security needs, and ensuring that the AWS Compliance and Security Assurance team meets its objectives. You will also be involved in developing scalable mechanisms to provide assurance to customers, ensuring that AWS services comply with industry standards and regulations. Your role will require you to stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt compliance strategies accordingly, ensuring that AWS remains a leader in security and compliance.
