You are a driven leader with over 5 years of experience in quota-carrying roles within a competitive market, demonstrating a proven track record of success in opening new accounts and managing complex sales processes. Your background includes at least 2 years of experience in recruiting and managing a successful software sales team, where you have empowered your team to achieve their targets and fostered a culture of high performance. You possess a deep understanding of MongoDB products, enabling you to provide mentorship and guidance to your sales team effectively. Your ability to navigate complex negotiations and build strong relationships with clients is a key strength that you bring to the table.
You are passionate about sales methodologies and have experience with MEDDIC, which you actively evangelize within your team to drive adoption and expertise. You thrive in environments where you can coach and develop your team, helping them to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build a robust sales pipeline. Your leadership style is characterized by your ability to foster strong relationships, resulting in growth opportunities for both your team and the organization.
Experience in the enterprise software sector is a plus, as is familiarity with sales forecasting and territory planning. You are comfortable with data-driven decision-making and have a knack for identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. Your ability to onboard and ramp new team members quickly is essential, as you understand the importance of accelerating their productive capacity to meet sales goals.
In this role, you will lead the Enterprise Growth sales team at MongoDB, focusing on formulating and executing a sales strategy aimed at growing existing customer relationships. You will conduct weekly forecast meetings to assess team performance and strategize on territory development. Your responsibilities will include actively recruiting Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring they align with MongoDB’s hiring criteria, and providing them with the necessary onboarding to succeed in their roles. You will coach your team to navigate complex negotiations and drive successful outcomes in their sales efforts.
You will also be responsible for scaling the sales team strategically, planning territories, and developing effective sales strategies that align with MongoDB’s overall business objectives. Your leadership will empower your team to achieve their sales targets while fostering a collaborative and high-energy environment. You will be expected to maintain an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products to provide mentorship and guidance, ensuring your team is well-equipped to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
